Coalville Public Radio is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run station operated by CPR CIC. We are committed to responsible, high-quality programming that serves our community.
CPR has secured an Ofcom Digital Sound Programme Service licence, allowing the station to broadcast on DAB when the local multiplex launches. DAB broadcasting is coming soon.
We welcome comments and concerns about our programming and output. Your feedback helps us improve and better serve our community.
Programming and music.
Our programming
Our programmes combine local news, community updates and music from the 1960s through to today. Specialist shows include Soul and Motown with Dynamite Dave, Crossroads of Americana and Sunday Gold.
Community-focused content and specialist music programmes give local voices and a range of musical interests a place on air.
Our playlist
Our music spans classic and contemporary tracks, including soul, Motown, rock, pop, dance and indie.
The daytime playlist, from 8am to 7pm, features feel-good music, listener requests and special features. Evening specialist programmes bring presenters’ individual styles and genre-focused selections.
We aim to reflect local tastes and offer variety throughout the week.

For a complaint about a broadcast, including the programme name, date and approximate time will help us identify the content you are referring to.
